Water Reducer 444

Water Reducer 444 is a liquid plasticizer designed to work well with all Buddy Rhodes high-performance concrete mixes. It is a versatile water reducing option that can be used to make self consolidating concrete (SCC), and at lower doses will provide fluidity needed to spray GFRC mixes without imparting too much sag or slump. Water Reducer 444 can also be used to temper mixes that have been plasticized with Water Reducer 310 or Water Reducer 205. This combination of water reducers allows the fabricator a wide range of possibilities in responding to environmental conditions.

Recommended Dosage Rate: 4 to 32 fluid oz. per 100 lbs of cement (250 to 2,000 mL per 100 kg). This is equivalent to a dosage range of 0.25% to 2.0% of cement weight. Dosage rates will vary depending on the materials used, mix design, ambient conditions and the requirements of a specific project. Make test batches of 10-20 lbs (5-10 kg) of concrete until you are familiar with Water Reducer 444’s effect on your mix. This product should either be added to the mix water or at the end of the mixing cycle.

Caution – Do not overdose Water Reducers. The ultimate indicator of an overdosage of plasticizer is segregation of the mix.

Make test batches prior to production to ensure optimal dosage.
