For countersinking and deburring in a wide range of materials including ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
The three fluted countersink is self centering with wide flutes and is used to provide a heavy chamfer in the entrance to a drilled hole.

Use on medium to hard materials.
Resharpenable.
All Bordo Countersinks are made from 100% M35 Cobalt High Speed Steel.
Cobalt offers increased wear and heat resistance in alloy steels, stainless steels and other abrasive or difficult materials. This increases tool life in all production applications.
Titanium Nitride (TiN) Coated Countersinks have a very hard gold coloured surface finish.
This coating is only a few microns thick and is achieved by Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD).
This treatment results in reduced friction, greater heat dissipation and reduced cold welding – which means higher speed and feed rates with greatly increased tool life.
As with all surface coated tools, performance will deteriorate after resharpening.
