Pfeil D Series Chisel – 2mm – 60 V Tool

Pfeil “D” Series Chisels feature the same quality Chrome Vanadium steel blades as the standard series tools, but with slightly shorter blades and smaller handles. This medium sizing makes them an excellent and manageable choice for younger carvers or those with smaller hands. Available in a variety of profiles and widths.
They are already sharp and ready for use, with the handle featuring flat edges, preventing the tool from rolling around on the bench.

Pfeil describe the chisels in the codes:

D specifies a smaller series (ie. D8)
An S specifies a skew type chisel (ie. 1S)
An A after the first number indicates a bent blade (ie. 8a)
The first number indicates the depth of the gouge, 1 being flat through to 15 being quite deep.
With the last number indicating the width of the chisel in millimetres.
